Tromso Norway / Day 6

We arrived in Tromso a Norwegian island city, north of the arctic circle,it is also home to the world’s northernmost University. We were ready to go!   Our Guide named Anita met us outside our ship and was ready to show us  her town.  Arabella was so excited when she found out our guide’s name, remembering what she discovered  when we visited the The Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum.     “Meet Anita and Arabella.  The Spiders that went to Space”        After sight seeing around Trosmo we headed to the Ariel Tramway.  This Cable Car runs from Solliveien in Tromsdalen up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen. The lower station is located on Tromsø’s mainland, 50 m above sea level, while the upper station, Fjellstua, is situated at an altitude of 421 m above sea level.
